Going Deeper — Ayurveda, Rishikesh, Anand Lok & Gangotri
A transformative, intimate journey created to strengthen physical, mental, and emotional well-being, bring you into contact with genuinely authentic Indian spiritual teachers, and surround you with the awe-inspiring nature of the Himalayas. It is designed for those who sense a call to go further — to step away from stress, recharge their energy, and take a real step forward on their spiritual path through yoga and meditation. Together we visit the heart of Ayurveda, live in a traditional ashram, pass through sacred places, and spend several days at a secluded Himalayan retreat wrapped in silence and nature. The journey reaches its peak at Gangotri, the birthplace of the Ganges and one of the most powerful spiritual sites in all of India.
Gangotri lies at high altitude in the Himalayas, considerably higher than Rishikesh. The journey there is by mountain road, with altitude gained gradually over the course of the trip, and you should expect noticeably cooler weather than in Rishikesh, even in summer. Moderate fitness is recommended, and guests with heart or respiratory conditions should consult their doctor before booking.
